  1  1    Amend Senate File 2429, as passed by the Senate, as
  1  2 follows:
  1  3    #1.  Page 7, line 24, by inserting before the word
  1  4 "Of" the following:  "a."
  1  5    #2.  Page 7, by inserting after line 25 the
  1  6 following:
  1  7    "b.  The department shall develop guidelines for
  1  8 the incorporation of lead-based paint screening as
  1  9 part of the standard early childhood immunization
  1 10 program administered throughout the state by private
  1 11 physicians and by city and county health departments.
  1 12 The objective of the guidelines shall be to facilitate
  1 13 the screening of all children in the state of Iowa for
  1 14 lead-based paint exposure, regardless of geographic
  1 15 region or estimated risk of exposure."
