  1  1    Amend House File 2376 as follows:
  1  2    #1.  Page 1, by striking lines 16 through 20 and
  1  3 inserting the following:  "appointed or refused to
  1  4 appoint the person.  Within ten days after an
  1  5 appointment is refused, the appointing officer, board,
  1  6 or person shall notify the unsuccessful applicant in
  1  7 writing of the At the time of application or at an
  1  8 interview for the position, an applicant may request
  1  9 notification of refusal only or notification of
  1 10 refusal and the".
