1 3 #1. Page 8, by inserting after line 3 the
1 4 following:
1 5 "Sec. . Section 321G.18, Code 1999, is amended
1 6 to read as follows:
1 7 321G.18 NEGLIGENCE.
1 8 The owner and operator of an all-terrain vehicle or
1 9 snowmobile are liable for any injury or damage
1 10 occasioned by the negligent operation of the all-
1 11 terrain vehicle or snowmobile. The owner of an all-
1 12 terrain vehicle or snowmobile shall be liable for any
1 13 such injury or damage only if the owner was the
1 14 operator of the all-terrain vehicle or snowmobile at
1 15 the time the injury or damage occurred or if the
1 16 operator had the owner's consent to operate the all-
1 17 terrain vehicle or snowmobile at the time the injury
1 18 or damage occurred."
1 19 #2. Title page, line 2, by inserting after the
1 20 word "children," the following: "owner liability for
1 21 damages,".
1 22 #3. By renumbering as necessary.
