  1  1    Amend Senate File 2241, as passed by the Senate, as
  1  2 follows:
  1  3    #1.  Page 3, by inserting after line 18 the
  1  4 following:
  1  5    "Sec. ___.  NEW SECTION.  708.2D  ASSAULT – CHOKE
  1  6 HOLD – PENALTY.
  1  7    A person who commits an assault which is in
  1  8 violation of section 708.2, subsection 5, by applying
  1  9 a choke hold around the throat of a person is guilty
  1 10 of a serious misdemeanor."
  1 11    #2.  Title page, by striking lines 2 and 3, and
  1 12 inserting the following:  "and enhancing a penalty for
  1 13 certain assaults."
  1 14    #3.  By renumbering as necessary.
