  1  1    Amend the amendment, H-8143, to House File 2426 as

  1  3    #1.  Page 1, by inserting before line 2 the
  1  4 following:
  1  5    "#   .  Page 1, by inserting after line 8 the
  1  6 following:
  1  7    "1A.  A person who commits an assault, as defined
  1  8 in section 708.1, against a practitioner as defined in
  1  9 section 272.1, within the confines or immediate area
  1 10 of a school where the practitioner is employed,
  1 11 commits a serious misdemeanor.""
  1 12    #2.  By renumbering as necessary.
