  1  1    Amend House File 2409 as follows:
  1  2    #1.  Page 5, by inserting after line 25 the
  1  3 following:
  1  4    "Sec. ___.  NEW SECTION.  56.15B  LIMITATION ON
  1  5 CONTRIBUTIONS.
  1  6    1.  A person shall not make a contribution to a
  1  7 candidate or candidate's committee that exceeds either
  1  8 of the following:
  1  9    a.  Five hundred dollars in the aggregate for any
  1 10 contested primary election.
  1 11    b.  Five hundred dollars in the aggregate for any
  1 12 general election.
  1 13    2.  A candidate or candidate's committee shall not
  1 14 receive a contribution from a person that exceeds:
  1 15    a.  Five hundred dollars in the aggregate for any
  1 16 contested primary election.
  1 17    b.  Five hundred dollars in the aggregate for any
  1 18 general election."
  1 19    #2.  By renumbering as necessary.
