  1  1    Amend the amendment, H-8244, to House File 2491, as
  1  2 follows:
  1  3    #1.  Page 2, by striking lines 12 through 17, and
  1  4 inserting the following:
  1  5    "__.  The economic development board has approved
  1  6 an application filed by the person to succeed the life
  1  7 science enterprise, as provided in section 15.104."
  1  8    #2.  Page 2, line 23, by inserting after the figure
  1  9 "4A." the following:  "a."
  1 10    #3.  Page 2, line 32, by striking the letter "a."
  1 11 and inserting the following:  "(1)".
  1 12    #4.  Page 2, line 34, by striking the letter "b."
  1 13 and inserting the following:  "(2)".
  1 14    #5.  Page 2, line 36, by striking the letter "c."
  1 15 and inserting the following:  "(3)".
  1 16    #6.  Page 2, line 38, by striking the letter "d."
  1 17 and inserting the following:  "(4)".
  1 18    #7.  Page 2, by inserting after line 39, the
  1 19 following:
  1 20    "b.  The board shall review and approve an
  1 21 application filed by a person requesting to succeed a
  1 22 life science enterprise as provided in section 10C.6.
  1 23 The person must submit the application as provided by
  1 24 the board.  The application shall include information
  1 25 regarding the person and the requested succession as
  1 26 required by the board.  The board shall approve or
  1 27 disapprove the application based on the requirements
  1 28 of chapter 10C as that chapter exists on or before
  1 29 June 30, 2004, and on the requirements of section
  1 30 10C.6."
  1 31    #8.  By renumbering as necessary.
