  1  1    Amend House File 2502 as follows:
  1  2    1.  Page 1, by inserting after line 26 the
  1  3 following:
  1  4    "Sec. ____.  INTERIM STUDY ON FUNDING COUNTY
  1  5 SHERIFFS.  The legislative council is requested to
  1  6 establish an interim study to study all aspects of the
  1  7 funding of law enforcement services of the office of
  1  8 county sheriff.  The findings and recommendations of
  1  9 the study committee shall be reported to the
  1 10 legislative council and the general assembly."
