1 1 Amend House File 2530 as follows:
1 2 #1. Page 156 by striking lines 34 and 35 and
1 3 inserting the following: "2006, the affiliate at the
1 4 time of the transfer shall offer employment to a
1 5 sufficient number of nonsupervisory employees of the
1 6 transferred division, business unit, generating
1 7 station, or generating unit to safely and reliably
1 8 operate and maintain the transferred division,
1 9 business unit, generating station, or generating unit.
1 10 Unless modified or waived by a collective bargaining
1 11 agreement, the employment offered shall satisfy the
1 12 following conditions:
1 13 a. The wage rates shall be no less than the wage
1 14 rates in effect immediately prior to the transfer.
1 15 b. Fringe benefits shall be substantially
1 16 equivalent to the fringe benefits in effect
1 17 immediately prior to the transfer.
1 18 c. Terms and conditions of employment, other than
1 19 wage rates and fringe benefits, shall be substantially
1 20 equivalent to the terms and conditions in effect
1 21 immediately prior to the transfer.
1 22 d. The wage rates, fringe benefits, and terms and
1 23 conditions shall continue for at least thirty months
1 24 from the time of transfer.
