  1  1    Amend House File 2480 as follows:
  1  2    #1.  Page 2, line 8, by striking the words
  1  3 "November October" and inserting the following:
  1  4 "November".
  1  5    #2.  Page 2, by striking lines 10 through 15 and
  1  6 inserting the following:  "the registration year.  A
  1  7 fee shall".
  1  8    #3.  Page 2, line 18, by inserting after the word
  1  9 "delinquency." the following:  "However, except for a
  1 10 vehicle registered under chapter 326, when such a
  1 11 vehicle is registered in November, the vehicle may be
  1 12 registered for the remaining unexpired months of the
  1 13 registration year or for the remaining unexpired
  1 14 months of the registration year and for the next
  1 15 registration year, upon payment of the applicable
  1 16 registration fees."
  1 17    #4.  Page 2, by striking lines 21 through 23 and
  1 18 inserting the following:  "month after the beginning
  1 19 of the registration year or succeeding months the
  1 20 registration fee shall be prorated for the remaining".
  1 21    #5.  Page 2, by striking lines 24 through 31 and
  1 22 inserting the following:  "unexpired months of the
  1 23 registration year.  A fee shall not be required for
  1 24 the month".
  1 25    #6.  Page 2, line 33, by inserting after the word
  1 26 "delinquency." the following:  "However, when a
  1 27 vehicle registered on a birth month basis is
  1 28 registered during the eleventh month of the
  1 29 registration year, the vehicle may be registered for
  1 30 the remaining unexpired months of the registration
  1 31 year or for the remaining unexpired months of the
  1 32 registration year and for the next registration year,
  1 33 upon payment of the applicable registration fees."
  1 34    #7.  Page 3, line 9, by striking the word "January"
  1 35 and inserting the following:  "July".
