  1  1    Amend House File 2323 as follows:
  1  2    #1.  Page 2, by inserting after line 17 the
  1  3 following:
  1  4    "Sec. ___.  NEW SECTION.  23B.1A  WAIVER.
  1  5    Any requirement of this chapter may be waived by a
  1  6 majority vote of the executive council upon a
  1  7 determination by the council that the requirement
  1  8 would jeopardize the state's ability to litigate in a
  1  9 timely manner."
  1 10    #2.  By renumbering as necessary.
