1 2 #1. Page 1, line 16, by inserting after word
1 3 "records." the following: "However, a postsecondary
1 4 education institution that adopts a policy of
1 5 providing information regarding a violation of a
1 6 federal, state, or local law, or institutional rule or
1 7 policy governing the use or possession of alcohol or a
1 8 controlled substance to the parent or guardian of a
1 9 student who is eighteen years of age or older shall
1 10 notify the student of the policy at the time of the
1 11 student's registration and shall allow a reasonable
1 12 period of time after notice has been given for a
1 13 student to inform the institution that any or all of
1 14 the information designated shall not be released
1 15 without the student's consent."
