1 2 #1. Page 1, by inserting after line 12 the
1 3 following:
1 4 "Of the proceeds from any lottery revenue received
1 5 from an agreement or compact entered into on or after
1 6 July 1, 2000, with a territory of the United States or
1 7 political subdivision of a territory of the United
1 8 States or a foreign nation after deductions have been
1 9 made pursuant to section 99E.10, the first one hundred
1 10 seventy thousand dollars shall be used for the
1 11 employment of additional law enforcement officers for
1 12 enforcing gambling laws and, notwithstanding section
1 13 99E.10, any additional lottery revenue exceeding one
1 14 hundred seventy thousand dollars, shall be credited to
1 15 the gambling treatment fund."
