1 2 #1. Page 2, by inserting after line 30 the
1 3 following:
1 4 "Sec. ___. WORKERS' COMPENSATION – SUPPLEMENTARY
1 5 PREMIUMS.
1 6 For the period beginning on the effective date of
1 7 this section and ending June 30, 2000, the department
1 8 of personnel shall apply a formula to assess and
1 9 collect from state departments supplementary premiums
1 10 which are an aggregate amount equal to this Act's
1 11 reduction of $1,800,000 in the appropriation made in
1 12 1999 Iowa Acts, chapter 199, section 23. The formula
1 13 shall be based upon the rating formula established by
1 14 the department of personnel in accordance with the
1 15 requirements of the 1999 Iowa Acts, chapter 199,
1 16 section 23, and Code section 19A.32. Upon the request
1 17 of the department of management or the legislative
1 18 fiscal bureau, the department of personnel shall make
1 19 available information regarding the supplementary
1 20 premium assessment and collection."
