  1  1    Amend Senate File 449, as amended, passed, and
  1  2 reprinted by the Senate, as follows:
  1  3    #1.  Page 2, by inserting after line 22 the
  1  4 following:
  1  5    "   .  The center for new Iowans and workforce
  1  6 development centers established under chapter 84B
  1  7 shall not refer a legal immigrant or foreign national
  1  8 to an employer that employs more than one hundred
  1  9 employees when more than ten percent of those
  1 10 employees are not citizens of the United States unless
  1 11 the employer provides or contracts for services to
  1 12 develop employee proficiency in the English language."
  1 13    #2.  By renumbering as necessary.
