1 3 #1. Page 7, by inserting after line 6 the
1 4 following:
1 5 "Sec. . LIVESTOCK CONTRACTING STUDY. The
1 6 legislative council is requested to establish an
1 7 interim committee to study issues relating to
1 8 practices involving contracts for the production and
1 9 marketing of livestock, including but not limited to
1 10 contracts executed by packers and cooperative
1 11 associations. The interim committee shall report the
1 12 findings and recommendations of its study, including
1 13 any proposed legislation, as required by the
1 14 legislative council prior to the 2000 Session of the
1 15 Seventy-eighth General Assembly."
