1 3 #1. Page 5, by inserting after line 3 the
1 4 following:
1 5 "4A. MEET AND CONFER. A group of franchisees may
1 6 seek to meet and confer with a franchisor regarding
1 7 any issues related to a franchise agreement or its
1 8 enforcement. If a group of franchisees obtains
1 9 express written authorization by twenty percent of
1 10 existing franchisees in the state, the franchisor of
1 11 the existing franchises shall meet and confer in good
1 12 faith with representatives of the franchisee group
1 13 over issues related to the franchises. The
1 14 representatives of the franchisee group shall be
1 15 selected by a majority vote at a meeting where all
1 16 franchisees receive ten days' notice or through
1 17 written authorization by a majority of the members of
1 18 the franchisee group."
