  1  1    Amend Senate File 449, as amended, passed, and
  1  2 reprinted by the Senate, as follows:
  1  3    #1.  Page 2, by inserting after line 24 the
  1  4 following:
  1  5    "Sec.    .  REPORT AND PUBLICATION LANGUAGE REVIEW.
  1  6 The legislative council is requested to authorize a
  1  7 study of official state and local government reports
  1  8 and publications to identify the quantity of these
  1  9 reports and publications that are published in a
  1 10 language other than English.  An official report of
  1 11 the study shall be submitted to the governor and
  1 12 general assembly by December 15, 1999."
  1 13    #2.  By renumbering as necessary.
