  1  1    Amend House File 760 as follows:
  1  2    #1.  By striking page 28, line 30, through page 29,
  1  3 line 14, and inserting the following:
  1  4    "___.  Of the funds appropriated in this section,
  1  5 $28,510,211, or such amount as is necessary, is
  1  6 allocated for group foster care maintenance and
  1  7 services."
  1  8    #2.  Page 61, by inserting after line 33 the
  1  9 following:

  1 12    Sec. ___.  Section 232.52, subsection 2A, Code
  1 13 1999, is amended by striking the subsection.
  1 14    Sec. ___.  Section 232.102, subsection 1A, Code
  1 15 1999, is amended by striking the subsection.
  1 16    Sec. ___.  Section 232.117, subsection 3A, Code
  1 17 1999, is amended by striking the subsection.
  1 18    Sec. ___.  Section 232.127, subsection 8, Code
  1 19 1999, is amended by striking the subsection.
  1 20    Sec. ___.  Section 232.143, Code 1999, is amended
  1 21 by striking the section and inserting in lieu thereof
  1 22 the following:
  1 23    232.143  REGIONAL GROUP FOSTER CARE EXPENDITURE
  1 24 PLAN.
  1 25    For each of the department's regions,
  1 26 representatives appointed by the department and
  1 27 juvenile court services shall establish a plan for
  1 28 containing the expenditures for children placed in
  1 29 group foster care ordered by the court.
  1 30    Sec. ___.  Section 232.182, subsection 7, Code
  1 31 1999, is amended by striking the subsection.
  1 32    Sec. ___.  Section 234.35, subsection 1, paragraph
  1 33 e, Code 1999, is amended to read as follows:
  1 34    e.  When a court has entered an order transferring
  1 35 the legal custody of the child to a foster care
  1 36 placement pursuant to section 232.52, subsection 2,
  1 37 paragraph "d", or section 232.102, subsection 1.
  1 38 However, payment for a group foster care placement
  1 39 shall be limited to those placements which conform to
  1 40 a regional group foster care plan established pursuant
  1 41 to section 232.143."
