  1  1    Amend Senate File 294, as amended, passed, and
  1  2 reprinted by the Senate as follows:
  1  3    #1.  Page 5, lines 12 and 13, by striking the words
  1  4 "who have been classified as "at-risk" in this state"
  1  5 and inserting the following:  "who have been
  1  6 classified as "at-risk" in this state".
  1  7    #2.  Page 5, by striking line 19 and inserting the
  1  8 following:
  1  9    "d. c.  The".
  1 10    #3.  Page 6, line 19, by inserting after the word
  1 11 "corrections" the following:  "or a judicial district
  1 12 department of correctional services".
  1 13    #4.  Page 7, line 22, by striking the words "A
  1 14 department or" and inserting the following:  "Each
  1 15 department under subsection 1 or each".
  1 16    #5.  Page 7, line 24, by inserting after the word
  1 17 "assessment" the following:  "conducted by that
  1 18 department or officer".
  1 19    #6.  Page 7, line 25, by inserting after the word
  1 20 "determination" the following:  "performed by a
  1 21 department".
  1 22    #7.  Page 7, line 26, by inserting after the figure
  1 23 "17A." the following:  "An appeal of an assessment of
  1 24 risk determination performed by a juvenile court
  1 25 officer shall be made in accordance with rules adopted
  1 26 by the department of public safety in consultation
  1 27 with the judicial branch."
  1 28    #8.  By renumbering, relettering, or redesignating
  1 29 and correcting internal references as necessary.
