  HOUSE AMENDMENT CONSIDERED

  Senate File 2332

  Senator Gettings called up for consideration Senate File 2332, a
  bill for an act relating to agriculture, regulating the sale of
  agricultural products advertised as organic, providing for fees and
  appropriations, and providing penalties and an effective date,
  amended by the House in House amendment S-5637 filed April 14,
  1998.

  Senator Judge asked and received unanimous consent that action
  on House amendment S-5637 and Senate File 2332 be deferred.

  RECESS

  On motion of Senator Iverson, the Senate recessed at 11:38 a.m.,
  until 1:00 p.m.
