  PRESENTATION OF VISITORS

  The Chair welcomed thirty fourth and fifth grade students from
  Grand Elementary School, Boxholm, Iowa, accompanied by Linda
  Hartman.  Senator Behn.

  MOTIONS TO RECONSIDER WITHDRAWN

  House File 334

  Senator Gronstal withdrew the motion to reconsider House File
  334, a bill for an act relating to certain franchise agreements by
  establishing a duty of good faith, providing for alternative dispute
  resolution, providing for venue and choice of law, and repealing
  existing franchise provisions, filed by him on March 24, 1998, and
  found on page 888 of the Senate Journal.

  Senator Jensen withdrew the motion to reconsider House File 334,
  filed by him on March 24, 1998, and found on page 888 of the Senate
  Journal.

  IMMEDIATELY MESSAGED

  Senator Iverson asked and received unanimous consent that
  Senate Files 530, 2329, 2330, 2378 and House File 334 be
  immediately messaged to the House.

  RECESS

  On motion of Senator Iverson, the Senate recessed at 11:15 a.m.,
  until 2:00 p.m.
