  MOTIONS TO RECONSIDER WITHDRAWN

  Senate Joint Resolution 2004

  Senator Gronstal withdrew the motion to reconsider Senate Joint
  Resolution 2004, a joint resolution proposing amendments to the
  Constitution of the State of Iowa relating to the state budget by
  limiting state general fund expenditures and restricting certain state
  tax revenue changes, filed by him on April 2, 1998, and found on page
  1050 of the Senate Journal.

  Senator McKibben withdrew the motion to reconsider Senate Joint
  Resolution 2004, filed by him on April 2, 1998, and found on page
  1050 of the Senate Journal.

  IMMEDIATELY MESSAGED

  Senator Iverson asked and received unanimous consent that
  House File 2539 and Senate Joint Resolution 2004 be
  immediately messaged to the House.

  CONFIRMATION OF GOVERNOR'S APPOINTMENTS

  In accordance with Senate Rule 59, Senator Iverson called up the
  following eligible appointees on the En Bloc Confirmation Calendar:

  Linda Hopkins, Accountancy Examining Board

  Susan J. Loy, Accountancy Examining Board
