  President Kramer took the chair at 11:24 a.m.

  Senator McCoy offered amendment S-5441, filed by him from the
  floor to pages 8 and 9 of the bill.

  PRESENTATION OF VISITORS

  The Chair welcomed the following visitors who were present in the
  Senate gallery:

  Twenty-seven fifth grade students from Western Hills Elementary
  School, West Des Moines, Iowa, accompanied by Mary Huggins.

  The Senate resumed consideration of House File 2528, and
  amendment S-5441.

  Senator McCoy moved the adoption of amendment S-5441.
