  have passed the Senate and the title was agreed to.

  IMMEDIATELY MESSAGED

  Senator Iverson asked and received unanimous consent that
  House Files 2146, 2262, 2271, House Concurrent Resolution
  105, and Senate Concurrent Resolution 109 be immediately
  messaged to the House.

  UNFINISHED BUSINESS

  Senate File 2357

  On motion of Senator Borlaug, Senate File 2357, by committee on
  Ways and Means, a bill for an act updating the Iowa Code references
  to the Internal Revenue Code, exempting certain preneed funeral
  trust income from taxation, revising the carryback and carryover
  periods for certain net operating losses, providing refunds, and
  providing an effective date and retroactive applicability dates, placed
  on the Unfinished Business Calendar on March 19, 1998, was taken
  up for consideration.

  Senator Borlaug moved that the bill be read the last time now and
  placed upon its passage, which motion prevailed by a voice vote, and
  the bill was read the last time.

  On the question "Shall the bill pass?" (S.F. 2357), the vote was:
