  House File 2487

  The Senate resumed consideration of House File 2487, a bill for an
  act relating to the fines and penalties and other requirements
  applicable to the sale of alcohol and providing an effective date,
  previously deferred.

  Senator Hammond offered amendment S-5309, filed by her from
  the floor to page 1 of the bill.

  Senator Angelo asked and received unanimous consent that action
  on amendment S-5309 and House File 2487 be deferred.

  IMMEDIATELY MESSAGED

  Senator Iverson asked and received unanimous consent that
  Senate File 2351 be immediately messaged to the House.

  UNFINISHED BUSINESS

  Senate Concurrent Resolution 109

  On motion of Senator Maddox, Senate Concurrent Resolution 109,
  a concurrent resolution to honor the memory of Jim Hancock, with
  report of committee recommending passage, placed on the Unfinished
  Business Calendar on March 19, 1998, was taken up for
  consideration.

  Senator Maddox moved the adoption of Senate Concurrent
  Resolution 109, which motion prevailed by a voice vote.
