  Senator Freeman moved that the bill be read the last time now
  and placed upon its passage, which motion prevailed by a voice vote,
  and the bill was read the last time.

  The bill having received a constitutional majority was declared to
  have passed the Senate and the title was agreed to.

  President Kramer took the chair at 1:41 p.m.

  House File 2262

  On motion of Senator King, House File 2262, a bill for an act to
  permit out-of-state peace officers to act within this state pursuant to
  agreements between state or local authorities, with report of
  committee recommending passage, was taken up for consideration.

  Senator Black asked and received unanimous consent that action
  on House File 2262 be deferred.
