RECONVENED The Senate reconvened at 1:03 p.m., President Kramer presiding. HOUSE MESSAGES RECEIVED The following messages were received from the Chief Clerk of the House: MADAM PRESIDENT: I am directed to inform your honorable body that the House has on March 19, 1998, passed the following bills in which the concurrence of the Senate is asked: House File 2286, a bill for an act creating the new criminal offense of disarming a peace officer. Read first time and referred to committee on Judiciary. House File 2495, a bill for an act relating to the conduct of elections in the state. Read first time and referred to committee on State Government. INTRODUCTION OF BILL Senate File 2409, by committee on Ways and Means, a bill for an act relating to a sales tax exemption for certain aircraft and providing an effective date. Read first time and placed on calendar. RECESS On motion of Senator Iverson, the Senate recessed at 1:05 p.m., until 3:00 p.m.
