  Senator Neuhauser asked and received unanimous consent that
  action on Senate File 2356 be deferred.

  IMMEDIATELY MESSAGED

  Senator Iverson asked and received unanimous consent that
  Senate Files 2192, 2308, and 2371 be immediately messaged to
  the House.

  CONSIDERATION OF BILLS
  (Regular Calendar)

  Senator Iverson asked and received unanimous consent to take up
  for consideration Senate Files 2374, 2383, and 2385.

  Senate File 2374

  On motion of Senator Maddox, Senate File 2374, a bill for an act
  providing for the regulation of bail enforcement businesses and their
  agents, limiting their actions, establishing fees, eliminating
  temporary county-issued identification for private security agents and
  investigators, and providing penalties, was taken up for
  consideration.

  Senator Maddox offered amendment S-5119, filed by him on
  March 3, 1998, to pages 2 and 8 of the bill and moved its adoption.

  Amendment S-5119 was adopted by a voice vote.

  Senator Maddox moved that the bill be read the last time now and
  placed upon its passage, which motion prevailed by a voice vote, and
  the bill was read the last time.

  On the question "Shall the bill pass?" (S.F. 2374), the vote was:
