  IMMEDIATELY MESSAGED

  Senator Iverson asked and received unanimous consent that
  Senate Files 2391, 2080, and 2201 be immediately messaged to
  the House.

  HOUSE MESSAGE RECEIVED

  The following message was received from the Chief Clerk of the
  House:

  MADAM PRESIDENT:  I am directed to inform your honorable body that the
  House has on March 11, 1998, passed the following bill in which the
  concurrence of
  the Senate is asked:

  House File 2400, a bill for an act providing a procedure for the
  preservation of a mechanic's lien for materials or labor furnished to a
  subcontractor and providing for related matters.

  Read first time and referred to committee on Judiciary.

  RECESS

  On motion of Senator Iverson, the Senate recessed at 11:13 a.m.,
  until 1:00 p.m.
