  relating to the
  licensing and employment of practitioners and the school districts employing
  them,
  making appropriations, and including retroactive applicability and effective
  date
  provisions.

  Recommendation:  APPROVED COMMITTEE BILL.

  Final Vote:  Ayes, 14: McLaren, Kramer, Behn, Borlaug, Douglas, Freeman,
  Hedge,
  Jensen, Maddox, Rehberg, Rensink, Rife, Rittmer, and Tinsman.  Nays, 11:
  Flynn,
  Black, Dvorsky, Halvorson, Hammond, Harper, Horn, Lundby, McCoy, Neuhauser,
  and
  Vilsack.

  Fiscal Note:  NOT REQUIRED UNDER JOINT RULE 17.

  *Pursuant to Senate Rule 40, the Legislative Service Bureau reported
  nonsubstantive
  changes to the members of the Appropriations Committee on Senate File 2366,
  and
  they were attached to the committee report.

  AGRICULTURE

  Final Bill Action:  *SENATE FILE 2371 (SSB 2177), a bill for an act relating
  to
  infectious and contagious diseases affecting livestock and providing
  penalties.

  Recommendation:  APPROVED COMMITTEE BILL.

  Final Vote:  Ayes, 11:  Rensink, Gaskill, Judge, Angelo, Bartz, Behn, Black,
  Hedge,
  Kibbie, Rife, and Vilsack. Nays, none.  Absent or not voting, 4:  Fraise,
  Gettings,
  McLaren, and Rehberg.

  Fiscal Note:  NOT REQUIRED UNDER JOINT RULE 17.
