  weight and axle weight restrictions and establishing a fee.

  Recommendation:  DO PASS.

  Final Vote:  Ayes, 13:  Drake, Borlaug, McCoy, Connolly, Douglas, Fraise,
  Freeman,
  Gettings, Halvorson, Jensen, McKean, McKibben, and Rittmer.  Nays, none.

  to rural
  improvement zones.

  Hedge, Judge, Maddox, McLaren, Redfern, Szymoniak, and Vilsack.  Nays, 1:

  ALSO:

  Final Bill Action:  *SENATE FILE 2288 (SSB 2073), a bill for an act relating
  to the
  sales and use tax on optional service or warranty contracts and to the sales
  and use tax
  exemption on certain computers, equipment, machinery, and fuel, relating to
  the
  definition of manufacturer for purposes of the exemption, and providing a
  retroactive
  applicability date.

  Recommendation:  APPROVED COMMITTEE BILL.

  Final Vote:  Ayes, 15:  Douglas, McKibben, Palmer, Borlaug, Connolly,
  Deluhery,
  Drake, Freeman, Hedge, Judge, Maddox, McLaren, Redfern, Szymoniak, and
  Vilsack.
