  Amendment S-3349 filed by the committee on Judiciary on April 2,
  1997, to pages 2-6, 8, and 10 of the bill.

  The following motion to reconsider filed by Senator Iverson on
  April 25, 1997, was out of order:

  MADAM PRESIDENT:  I move to reconsider the vote by which amendment S-3772
  to amendment S-3771 failed to be adopted by the Senate on April 25, 1997.

  Senator King moved that the bill be read the last time now and
  placed upon its passage, which motion prevailed by a voice vote, and
  the bill was read the last time.

  On the question "Shall the bill pass?" (H.F. 299), the vote was:

  Rule 23, requiring all Senators present to vote except those who
  express a conflict of interest, was invoked.
