MOTION TO RECONSIDER WITHDRAWN
(House File 2558)
Houser of Pottawattamie asked and received unanimous consent to
withdraw the motion to reconsider House File 2558, a bill for an
act relating to mental health, developmental disability, and
substance abuse service, commitment, and payment provisions, and
including an applicability provision and an effective date,
filed by him on April 15, 1998.
IMMEDIATE MESSAGE
Siegrist of Pottawattamie asked and received unanimous consent
that House File 2558 be immediately messaged to the Senate.
The House resumed consideration of Senate File 2416, previously
deferred.
Larson of Linn asked and received unanimous consent to withdraw
amendment H-9228B.
Rants of Woodbury moved the adoption of amendment H-9205B.
Amendment H-9205B was adopted.
Larson of Linn asked and received unanimous consent to withdraw
amendment H-9228C, to amendment H-9205D.
Rants of Woodbury moved the adoption of amendment H-9205D.
Amendment H-9205D was adopted.
Speaker Corbett in the chair at 4:43 p.m.

LEAVE OF ABSENCE
Leave of absence was granted as follows:
Cataldo of Polk, until his return, on request of Schrader of
Marion.
Rants of Woodbury moved that the bill be read a last time now
and placed upon its passage which motion prevailed and the bill
was read a last time.
On the question "Shall the bill pass?" (S.F. 2416)
