8, a bill for an act relating to the funding of state mandates,
amended by the Senate amendment H-8002 as follows:

 1     Amend House File 8, as amended, passed, and
 2   reprinted by the House, as follows:
 3     1.  Page 1, line 9, by striking the figure "1997"
 4   and inserting the following:  "1998".
 5     2.  Page 1, line 14, by striking the figure "1997"
 6   and inserting the following:  "1998".
 7     3.  Page 1, line 16, by inserting after the word
 8   "mandate" the following:  "as identified pursuant to
 9   section 25B.5, subsections 1 and 2".
10     4.  Page 1, line 18, by inserting after the word
