Senate File 2192, a bill for an act relating to motor vehicle damage disclosure statements, was taken up for consideration. O'Brien of Boone asked and received unanimous consent to withdraw amendment H-8422 filed by him on March 16, 1998. Chiodo of Polk offered the following amendment H-8387 filed by Chiodo, et al., and moved its adoption: H-8387 1 Amend Senate File 2192, as amended, passed, and 2 reprinted by the Senate, as follows: 3 1. Page 1, line 19, by inserting after the word 4 "batteries," the following: "windshields, windows, a 5 sound system,". A non-record roll call was requested. The ayes were 45, nays 33. Amendment H-8387 was adopted. Weidman of Cass moved that the bill be read a last time now and placed upon its passage which motion prevailed and the bill was read a last time. On the question "Shall the bill pass?"
