IMMEDIATE MESSAGE Siegrist of Pottawattamie asked and received unanimous consent that House File 2494 be immediately messaged to the Senate. HOUSE FILE 2405 REREFERRED The Speaker announced that House File 2405, previously referred to committee local government was rereferred to committee on ways and means. SENATE FILE 2192 PASSED ON FILE The Speaker announced that Senate File 2192, previously referred to committee on transportation was passed on file. EXPLANATION OF VOTE I was necessarily absent from the House chamber on March 12, 1998. Had I been present, I would have voted "aye" on House Files 2275, 2502 and 2512. WITT of Black Hawk PRESENTATION OF VISITORS Schrader of Marion presented to the House former State Representative David Osterberg from Linn County. The Speaker announced that the following visitors were present in the House chamber: Fifty-one seniors from Clear Creek-Amana, Tiffin, accompanied by Joy Lindquist.
