The ayes were 46, nays 48.
Amendment H-8128, as amended, lost.
Taylor of Linn asked and received unanimous consent to withdraw
amendment H-8136 filed by him on February 28, 1998.
On motion by Falck of Fayette, amendment H-8129, as amended,
previously deferred, was adopted.
Millage of Scott moved that the bill be read a last time now and
placed upon its passage which motion prevailed and the bill was
read a last time.
On the question "Shall the bill pass?" (H.F. 2395)
