1506 JOURNAL OF THE SENATE 106th Day MADAM PRESIDENT: I am directed to inform your honorable body that the House has on April 28, 1997, passed the following bill in which the concurrence of the House was asked: Senate File 410, a bill for an act relating to the Iowa higher education loan authority by eliminating the limit on the amount of its obligations that may be outstanding for purposes of funding capital projects and allowing the authority to issue tuition anticipation notes and obligations to finance projects to be leased to an institution. ALSO: That the House has on April 28, 1997, concurred in the Senate amendment and passed the following bill in which the concurrence of the House was asked: House File 636, a bill for an act relating to the office of secretary of state and the conduct of elections and voter registration in the state and relating to corrective and technical changes to Iowa's election laws, and providing an effective date. CONSIDERATION OF BILL (Regular Calendar) Senate File 555 On motion of Senator Kibbie, Senate File 555, a bill for an act relating to the control of pseudorabies, making corresponding changes, making penalties applicable, and providing for an effective date, with report of committee recommending amendment and passage was taken up for consideration. Senator Kibbie offered amendment S-3809 filed by the committee on Agriculture from the floor to strike everything after the enacting clause of the bill. Senator Kibbie offered amendment S-3815 filed by him from the floor to amendment S-3809. Senator Bartz asked and received unanimous consent that action on amendment S-3815 to amendment S-3809, amendment S-3809 and Senate File 555 be deferred.
