  Senate File 393

  On motion of Senator Schuerer, Senate File 393, a bill for an act
  amending the uniform securities Act relating to the registration of
  securities and the registration of broker-dealers and agents,
  establishing fees, and providing an effective date, placed on the
  Unfinished Business Calendar on April 3, 1997, was taken up for
  consideration.

  Senator Schuerer offered amendment S-3250 filed by Senators
  Schuerer and Jensen on March 26, 1997, to pages 2, 4, 6 and 7 of the
  bill and moved its adoption.

  Amendment S-3250 was adopted by a voice vote.

  Senator Schuerer asked and received unanimous consent that
  House File 553 be substituted  for Senate File 393.
