  1  4 RELATING TO THE DEFINITION OF A CHRONIC RUNAWAY.

  1  6 BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF IOWA: 
  1  7 
  1  8    Section 1.  Section 232.2, subsection 6A, Code Supplement
  1  9 1997, is amended to read as follows:
  1 10    6A.  "Chronic runaway" means a child who is reported to law
  1 11 enforcement as a runaway more than once in any month thirty-
  1 12 day period or three or more times in any year.
