  1  4 CONCERNING THE SUNSET PROVISION RELATING TO THE EMPLOY-
  1  5    MENT SECURITY ADMINISTRATIVE CONTRIBUTION SURCHARGE 
  1  6    AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.  
  1  7 
  1  8 BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF IOWA: 
  1  9 
  1 10    Section 1.  Section 96.7, subsection 12, paragraph d, Code
  1 11 1997, is amended to read as follows:
  1 12    d.  This subsection is repealed July 1, 1998 2001, and the
  1 13 repeal is applicable to contribution rates for calendar year
  1 14 1999 2002 and subsequent calendar years.
  1 15    Sec. 2.  EFFECTIVE DATE.  This Act takes effect June 30,
  1 16 1998.
