  1  1    Section 1.  NEW SECTION.  123.49A  RETENTION OF
  1  2 IDENTIFICATION CARD.
  1  3    As a condition of a person remaining in a licensed
  1  4 premises, a liquor control licensee or wine or beer permittee,
  1  5 or an employee of a licensee or permittee may retain a motor
  1  6 vehicle license, a nonoperator identification card, or other
  1  7 form of identification submitted by the person to show the
  1  8 person's age while the person remains in the licensed
  1  9 premises.  
  1 10                           EXPLANATION 
  1 11    This bill provides that a liquor control licensee or wine
  1 12 or beer permittee, or an employee of a licensee or permittee
  1 13 may retain the identification submitted by a person to show
  1 14 the person's age while the person remains in the licensed
  1 15 premises.
