  1  1    Section 1.  NEW SECTION.  321F.40  TOILET.
  1  2    Each train operating in this state shall be equipped with
  1  3 at least one permanently installed, properly functioning flush
  1  4 or chemical toilet.  The toilet facilities shall be adequately
  1  5 lighted, temperature controlled, ventilated, and kept
  1  6 regularly maintained, serviced, and clean and sanitary by the
  1  7 railroad operating the train.  
  1  8                           EXPLANATION
  1  9    This bill requires all trains operated in Iowa to be
  1 10 equipped with at least one toilet.  The bill also requires
  1 11 that the toilet facilities be maintained, serviced, and
  1 12 cleaned by the railroad operating the train.
