  1  3    #1.  Page 2, line 17, by inserting before the word
  1  4 "For" the following:  "a."
  1  5    #2.  Page 2, line 29, by striking the words "three
  1  6 five" and inserting the following:  "three".
  1  7    #3.  Page 2, line 31, by striking the words "six
  1  8 ten" and inserting the following:  "six".
  1  9    #4.  Page 2, line 33, by striking the words
  1 10 "However, a" and inserting the following:  "However, a
  1 11 the maximum amount specified in this paragraph may be
  1 12 increased as provided in paragraph "b".  A".
  1 13    #5.  Page 3, lines 4 and 5, by striking the words
  1 14 "ten thousand dollars.  The ten thousand dollar" and

  1 19    "b.  For purposes of this paragraph, "net income"

  1 21 to any deduction under this subsection.  The maximum
  1 22 amount specified in paragraph "a" may be increased by
  1 23 three thousand dollars for single filers and six
  1 24 thousand dollars for joint filers.  Single filers with
  1 25 net incomes of thirty-four thousand dollars or less
  1 26 and joint filers with forty-four thousand dollars or
  1 27 less may receive one hundred percent of the three
  1 28 thousand dollar increase or six thousand dollar
  1 29 increase, respectively.  For each additional one
  1 30 thousand dollars, or portion thereof, of net income,
  1 31 the percentage of the appropriate dollar increase
  1 32 specified in this paragraph allowed as a deduction
  1 33 shall be reduced by five percent."
