PAG LIN 1 1 Amend Senate File 2409 as follows: 1 2 #1. Page 1, by inserting before line 1 the 1 3 following: 1 4 "Section 1. Section 328.21, Code 1997, is amended 1 5 by striking the section and inserting in lieu thereof 1 6 the following: 1 7 328.21 AIRCRAFT REGISTRATION FEE. 1 8 A fee of one hundred dollars shall be paid to the 1 9 department at the time of registration of an aircraft. 1 10 Sec. . Section 328.26, Code 1997, is amended to 1 11 read as follows: 1 12 328.26 APPLICATION FOR REGISTRATION. 1 13 Every application for registration pursuant to 1 14 sections 328.19to 328.22and 328.20 shall be made 1 15 upon such forms, and shall contain such information, 1 16 as the department may prescribe, and every application 1 17 shall be accompanied by the full amount of the 1 18 registration fee. 1 19 When an aircraft is registered to a person for the 1 20 first time the fee submitted to the department shall 1 21 include the tax imposed by section 422.43 or section 1 22 423.2 or evidence of the exemption of the aircraft 1 23 from the tax imposed under section 422.43 or 423.2." 1 24 #2. Page 1, by inserting after line 13 the 1 25 following: 1 26 "Sec. . Sections 328.22 and 328.24, Code 1997, 1 27 are repealed." 1 28 #3.
