  1  1    Amend House File 2539, as amended, passed, and
  1  2 reprinted by the House, as follows:
  1  3    #1.  Page 38, by inserting after line 7 the
  1  4 following:
  1  5    "Sec. ___.  CAPITOL SECURITY STUDY.  The
  1  6 legislative council is requested to establish an
  1  7 interim study committee to consider the possibility of
  1  8 privatizing the functions performed by the capitol
  1  9 police.  The interim study shall consider the possible
  1 10 effectiveness of and the potential cost savings from
  1 11 privatizing these functions."
  1 12    #2.  By renumbering as necessary.
