  1  1    Amend Senate File 2410 as follows:
  1  2    #1.  Page 63, by inserting after line 13 the
  1  3 following:
  1  4    "Sec. ___.  DEPENDENT ADULT ABUSE ASSESSMENT.  The
  1  5 department of human services, in consultation with the
  1  6 department of elder affairs and the governor's
  1  7 planning council for development disabilities, shall
  1  8 develop an assessment-based approach to respond to
  1  9 dependent adult abuse reports made pursuant to section
  1 10 235B.3.  The approach shall be developed in the fiscal
  1 11 year beginning July 1, 1998."
  1 12    #2.  By renumbering as necessary.
