1 1 Amend Senate File 2410 as follows:
1 2 #1. Page 52, by inserting after line 26 the
1 3 following:
1 4 "j. For the fiscal year beginning July 1, 1998,
1 5 the reimbursement rates for durable medical equipment
1 6 and supplies shall be increased by two percent over
1 7 the rates in effect on June 30, 1998."
1 8 #2. Page 52, by inserting before line 27 the
1 9 following:
1 10 "k. The department of human services may allocate
1 11 increases among items and implement procedures for
1 12 durable medical equipment and supplies as deemed
1 13 appropriate to reimburse those providers who are being
1 14 reimbursed below the actual cost of the equipment or
1 15 supplies."
1 16 #3. Page 55, line 24, by inserting after the word
1 17 "therapy" the following: "and shall determine the
1 18 number of providers who are being reimbursed below the
1 19 actual cost of durable medical equipment and
1 20 supplies".
1 21 #4. By renumbering as necessary.
