  1  1    Amend House File 382, as amended, passed, and
  1  2 reprinted by the House, as follows:
  1  3    #1.  Page 2, by striking lines 25 through 30 and
  1  4 inserting the following:  "territory, country, or any
  1  5 foreign jurisdiction is valid in this state if the
  1  6 marriage was valid under the law of the state,
  1  7 territory, country, or any foreign jurisdiction in
  1  8 which the parties resided at the time of the
  1  9 solemnization and if the state, territory, country, or
  1 10 foreign jurisdiction in which the parties resided at
  1 11 the time of the solemnization recognizes a marriage
  1 12 which is valid under the law of this state."
